Instruction
A licensed captain teaches you on your boat, in your harbor. Docking, lines, systems, and the habits that keep a boat alive in Hawaiʻi. Your Boat, Your Harbor — 4 hours, $495.
On-water skills instruction, not the State of Hawaiʻi boater education certificate.
Where I work
The biggest small-boat harbor in the state, next to Waikīkī. My home dock.
Working slips and moorings off Sand Island. Quiet water, honest boats.
East-side slips on Maunalua Bay, under Koko Head.
The leeward side. Deep slips, long sunsets.
The captain
Honolulu Yacht Management is owned and run by Rich Riley, a USCG-licensed captain. One point of contact. The person who answers is the person on your dock. About the captain
